Join us for a series of events at the Firebird Brewery bar

On the 2nd Thursday of every month we host a variety of ticketed events such as Quiz nights, Comedy Nights, Paint and Sip, Beer and wine tastings and more! Tickets for these events can be found below. All other Thursday's are Bring Your Own Vinyl night. All Thursdays are over 18's only and we are open until 9pm.

BYOV Night
BYOV= Bring your own vinyl. You get to choose the music! Bring a vinyl to play on our deck every Thursday (apart from event nights) from 6- 9pm.
Don't have a vinyl? No problem. Just come along, enjoy a drink and soak up the atmosphere.
Our bar offers a full range of drinks from an extensive selection of our craft beers, to local spirits, cider, wines and soft drinks.
No tickets needed, just turn up. Please note we are open to 18's and over only.
mONTHLY QUIZ NIGHT
Hosted by Doug and John, we're excited to bring you our monthly General Knowledge Quiz! Expect 8 rounds of 8 questions with picture rounds, and a great mix of topics including music, sport, film & TV and more, plus music rounds throughout the evening. Gather your team (up to 6 people) and put your knowledge to the test! Tickets are £5 per person, over 18s only, and ticket only. The event runs 7pm–9pm. Bar open 6- 9:30pm.

Hosted By Paul Stanworth, we are excited to hold open mic night! Got a song to share, a poem or some comedy? Or just fancy enjoying the talent with a pint in hand? Come down and join our open mic night! Whether you’re performing or cheering from the crowd, it’s all about good vibes, local talent, and discovering something new. No ticket required, just turn up! From 6:30pm- 9pm. First come, first served.
8/10 COMEDY NIGHT
Get ready for another night of live stand-up comedy at Firebird! We’ve got a brilliant lineup of comedians bringing sharp observations, clever punchlines, hilarious stories and plenty of laughs to the bar. Peter Rethinasamy is a Belfast-born comedian with a Malaysian father and Irish mother, known for his punchy jokes and hilarious stories of growing up in Northern Ireland. A King Gong winner at London’s Comedy Store, Peter has supported the likes of Russell Kane, Tom Allen, Seann Walsh and Kerry Godliman, as well as appearing on TV and film. James Ellis is an award-winning comedian and South Coast Comedian of the Year, with a knack for finding the funny in everyday life. Currently supporting Angela Barnes on tour, James brings sharp observational humour, clever writing and a great stage presence. Fab Goualin is a London-based comedian, actor, writer and DJ of French and Nigerian descent. His unique background provides plenty of material, with witty stories and observations on culture and everyday life. A King Gong and Beat the Frog winner, Fab was also a finalist in the prestigious So You Think You're Funny competition. So grab a beer, settle in and get ready for a proper night of laughs at Firebird! 7:30- 9:30pm (please arrive at 7pm). £15pp.
10/12 WREATH MAKING
We are so excited to have Sussex Florals back at the brewery this festive season. Bringing you a gorgeous kick start to your festive season with an evening of wreath making at the brewery, with a complimentary mince pie and drinks token. The evening will start with a choice of drinks and introductions. They will then teach you the traditional moss based method to make your very own luxury Christmas wreath. They will start by mossing our copper ring bases and then let the magic begin and transform it with a variety of evergreen foliages, berries, dried fruits, pine cones, and some gorgeous festive accessories. The wreaths are then finished with a choice of festive ribbons and ready for hanging on your front door. Wreath making and drink token for a glass of wine, pint of beer, single spirit or soft drink.
£55 per person from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. 18's and over only.

Brewery Tours are back! 

Curious to know what goes on at Firebird, and what it takes to bring our beers to life?

Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at life as a brewer at Firebird Brewery. Our tour offers a lighthearted dive into the history and science of brewing, as well as the full brewing journey from the malt & hops, to the final product.

Included in your tour, you’ll receive:

  • Welcome ½ pint of your choice
  • Guided walk around the brewhouse, fermentation area and packaging area.
  • A chance to get up close with some hop and malt samples
  • Beer card - 6 ½ pint vouchers
  • Guided tasting of 3 Firebird beers in our taproom
  • Free gift to take home
  • 10% off shop purchases on the day
  • Tour Bookings:
  • Tours run twice a month on a Saturday between 3- 4:30pm.
  • Tickets can be purchased online or in-store.
  • £30pp

They'll need to provide the Shopify order number included in your order confirmation email.

T&C's:

  • Over 18’s only - Valid ID is required for the Challenge 25 policy
  • Vouchers are redeemable for 1 year from purchase
  • Appropriate footwear and clothing is required.
  • No open-toe or flip-flop style shoes or high heels
  • We recommend flat shoes, boots, or trainers
  • Avoid flowing garments
  • The brewery can get quite cold during the winter months, so we would recommend layers.
  • Please note that the tour requires walking and the use of stairs. We will try to accommodate any mobility issues, but please let us know in advance in case any adaptations need to be made.
  • Drunk and disorderly behaviour is not permitted
  • Arrive at least 15 mins before start time.
  • The brewery tour will start on time, and therefore may not be able to wait for you.
  • Tours can be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance
  • Do not touch, interfere or remove anything unless you have been given permission by the tour guide. The machinery may be hot, move unexpectedly, or you may interfere with the brewing process.
  • No eating, smoking or vaping on the tour.
  • 10% off in the shop is only applicable to Firebird products
  • Tour vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are subject to availability

  • If you wish to request a refund before the cutoff time, please contact our team by emailing hello@firebird.beer or calling 01403 823180 during office hours.
  • Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.
  • The refund will show up in your account within 3-5 business days.
  • Please note that no refunds will be issued for non-attendance or change of plans after the refund deadline.
